Compressive temporal summation
Durations sum compressively over time. Repetition suppression. Delayed divisive normalisation predicts changes due to stimulus duration, interval and contrast. Higher-level areas have longer temporal integration windows. Higher-level areas take longer to recover from adaptation. There is stronger adaptation and slower recovery when the stimulus is preferred.
